I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I am Andy Hunter and I am 43 years old and was born in Zimbabwe in 1962 to a very outdoors family with whom I spent my childhood hunting and fishing. I am married and my wife Sara assists in running my office while I am away hunting. We have 2 lovely little girls of whom I am very proud. After completing my education I joined the Zimbabwe Department of National Parks & Wildlife as a game ranger. During this 7 year period is where I gained a lot of my dangerous game experience as by the virtue of my job as we were responsible for Problem Animal Control (PAC), elephant culling, as well as live capture of Rhino and Elephant and our anti poaching work. I obtained my PH license in Zimbabwe and then in 1988 I started hunting professionally. I have hunted in 4 African countries, (Zimbabwe, Tanzania, Mozambique and South Africa) and I am currently legally licensed in Zimbabwe and 3 Provinces in South Africa and I am also an examiner for the Zimbabwe PH and Guides exams and work in conjunction with the Parks Authority in this regard. In 1991 I started my Safari Company with basic plains game and Leopard hunts but since the land issue I have been hunting Dangerous Game once more since 2000. If I am not personally hunting my clients (which I strive to do) I only utilize ethical and licensed hunters as well as the finest in staff. I rate Elephant and Buffalo hunting as a great challenge and am enthusiastic about tracking and stalking both species.
