Voltage in Zimbabwe is 220/240 volts, 50 Hz. For your electrical items you will need a voltage converter. These can be purchased at most any local department store such as K-Mart, or Wal Mart. Some voltage converters are sold in travel packs which also contain plugs for their outlets. Although we have some available in the different camps, the one that is normally used in Zimbabwe is the old British round electrical plug or the newer 3 prong square plug that is used in Great Britain and throughout much of Africa. This is a different plug from those that are used in South Africa.
